As full recycling of e-waste carries a financial cost, Urban Miners charge fees on a per-item basis (full list below). These fees cover the costs of full recycling and recovery charged by our processing partners, as well as freight, insurance, and the lease on our processing facility.

Please note that free recycling for household batteries is available at Mitre 10 in Cambridge and Pak N’ Save in Te Awamutu.

CRT TVs, Photocopiers (up to 80cm x 80cm x 80cm) 

Please note we cannot accept items which contain gas under pressure, or oil heaters
